TERMS OF STUDY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MERZEBURG (GERMANY) FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING
CONDITIONS OF STUDENTS 'TRAINING OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF GERMANY (GERMANY)
INTRODUCE TO HOCHSCHULE MERSEBURG
Admission to study in Merseburg is carried out after the first year of study at the KPI them. Igor Sikorsky Teaching is done in German.
In May each year, a representative of the University of Applied Sciences Hochschule Merseburg arrives in Kiev to test students for the knowledge of German. The test consists of three parts - grammar, reading and speaking (interviewing).
If students are successfully tested, they receive an invitation from Hochschule Merseburg for the training they submit to the German Embassy in Ukraine to obtain a visa.
DURATION AND TRAINING PLAN IN GERMANY
Bachelor's degree lasts 6 semesters, ie 3 years. Since some subjects coincide with the subjects of the first two years of study at the KPI them. Igor Sikorsky, there is an opportunity to re-count some grades (such as mathematics and physics) and go through the training program for two, not three years. In this way, students have the opportunity to complete a bachelor's degree in both universities at the same time.
After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Hochschule Merseburg, students can continue their education at the Hochschule Merseburg Magistracy or any German higher education institution.

CONDITIONS OF STUDENTS 'TRAINING OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF GERMANY (GERMANY)
Students can be enrolled in the bachelor's area:
communications, communication and automation systems (BMKAS)
Applied Informatics (BAIN)
Technical Documentation and Electronic Learning Systems (BTREL)
Upon entering the BTREL course, after the second study semester the in-depth study of electronic learning systems is chosen, as profound study of the technical documentation is possible only with excellent knowledge of the German language.
Ukrainian students study in the KPI for the first and second semesters of undergraduate engineering studies and attend parallel German courses lasting two semesters. Visiting German courses is compulsory.
The first two semesters in BMKAS, BAIN and BTREL directions do not allow Ukrainian students to study mathematics and computer science, as these basic subjects are taught in the KPI for the first two semesters. In addition, Ukrainian students attend German courses at Nome Merseburg in the amount of 8 academic hours a week. From the third to the fifth semester, Ukrainian students can choose from lessons in the German language as part of non-technical subjects as well. More detailed information is regulated in the programmatic regulations of the examination and training curriculum of specialties BMKAS, BAIN and BTREL.
A prerequisite is knowledge of the English language. The HOME curriculum includes English language courses in specialty.
After the successful completion of the 1st and 2nd semesters and the successful completion of German courses, the Language Center NOME Merseburg conducts a German-language exam in the KPI. An exam preparation is a prerequisite for joining NME Merseburg. According to the agreed number of Ukrainian students, the best graduates of language courses will be selected for approval for study at NOME Merseburg.
The bachelor's program in the fields of BMKAS, BAIN and BTREL takes 6 semesters. Since Ukrainian students have already completed two semesters of KPI, the duration of general education is 8 semesters, which corresponds to the duration of studying in the direction of preparation of a bachelor's degree at the National Technical University of Ukraine.
Students who have not received a visa or have not obtained the required number of credits at the University of Merseburg have the opportunity to complete their studies at the KPI
To complete the study at Nome Merseburg, students approve the subject of baccalaureate work, which was previously agreed with the relevant professors NOME Merseburg and KPI. The manual is carried out by the appropriate entrusted professor.
Baccalaureate work is presented in German or English at NOME Merseburg and is evaluated in accordance with the NOME Merseburg Exams. After admitting baccalaureate to NOME Merseburg, she is translated by students into the Ukrainian language and the translation or the English original version is submitted to the KPI. The National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" approves this baccalaureate work as a bachelor's thesis in the specialty.
After successfully completing all the exams, the student receives a Bachelor's Degree, NOME Merseburg and KPI. The student receives the certificate of KPI and NOME Merseburg, as well as a joint certificate from both universities. The certificate is accompanied by an extract with detailed academic achievement (Appendix to the diploma). All of these documents are issued in German, Ukrainian and English.
