July 2–5, 2026, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will host the XVII International Open Student Programming Olympiad named after S. O. Lebedev and V. M. Glushkov – KPI-OPEN 2026.
KPI-OPEN is a renowned programming competition established in 2006 by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in cooperation with V. M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the NAS of Ukraine and Vanopl Development Group, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Over the years, the competition has brought together more than 4,000 students, forming 1,050 teams from 165 higher education institutions, representing 75 cities and 16 countries around the world.

🤝 Following a forced pause caused by the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the tradition of holding the Olympiad is being revived this year with the support of the general partner Solidgate.
