The department has seven computer labs integrated into a local two-tier network, which provides access to the university network as well as global information networks such as the Internet and Fidonet, along with a number of educational and research laboratories where scientific research is conducted under the supervision of the department’s leading faculty members.
Data Center
The department’s Data Center provides modern server and user software, IP telephony, Web servers, cloud infrastructure, version control systems, project management software, and repositories for learning, completing qualification works, and conducting experiments. It also offers tools for distance learning and a video conferencing system.
For the scientific creativity of students and scientists, the data processing center provides an opportunity to solve the most pressing modern problems of machine learning, artificial intelligence and research in the field of neural networks. Thus, on the basis of the resources of the data center with the participation of master’s and postgraduate students of the department, the Grant of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine “Artificial Intelligence Platform for Remote Automated Detection and Diagnosis of Human Diseases” was implemented, the project is being implemented within the framework of the European Union program “HORIZON 2020″ Knowledge at the Fingertips: Clinical Knowledge for Humanity (KATY)”. A number of other research projects were also implemented in cooperation with European universities and China.
