The discipline “Information Security in Computer Systems” is designed to study methods and tools for access control to information media and databases, standards and mathematical models for building comprehensive protection systems for computer systems and networks against intrusions, modern methods, standards, and algorithms of cryptographic data protection on storage media and in communication channels, as well as specialized and standard software and hardware tools for authentication of subjects and messages in information and web technologies. These ensure the development of efficient and highly reliable distributed computer systems operating under rapidly changing and aggressive conditions.
