The discipline “Distributed Computing Technologies” is designed to study methods and tools for developing software for distributed computer systems. The course is based on the disciplines “Programming”, “Parallel and Distributed Computing”, “Computer Systems”, “Computer Networks”, “Software Engineering”, and “Database Organization”.

Course materials are used in the disciplines “Design of Complex Systems” and “Network Information Technologies”.

The aim of studying the course “Distributed Computing Technologies” is:

  • to study the architectures of distributed systems (cluster systems – CS) related to high-performance data processing;
  • to study the principles of software development for CS;
  • to study approaches to modeling computational processes in CS;
  • to study methods and tools for building software for CS.
