Computer Logic

The aim of the credit module is to study the most important sections of switching function theory, applied aspects of the theory of digital automata with memory, as well as to acquire skills and competencies in applying practical methods of analysis and synthesis of digital circuits.

The module content includes the following sections:

  • switching functions;
  • abstract digital automata with memory;
  • design of logic circuits in a given element basis;
  • design of digital automata with memory;
  • typical computer hardware circuits.

The credit module provides knowledge of the fundamental principles of digital automata theory, basic methods of synthesis and analysis of digital circuits, organization of typical computer hardware units, as well as the ability to formulate practical problems in terms of computer logic and select rational solutions, and to acquire skills in designing digital automata in various element bases.
