Global computer networks
The discipline "Global computer networks" is intended for studying the technologies of data transmission in global networks, the peculiarity of the transmission of multimedia data on the Internet.
The purpose of studying the course "Global computer networks" are:
- - study of data transmission technologies in global computer networks
- - study tools for modeling processes in the global network
- - study of the protocols of the application layer of the TCP / IP stack
- - the study of mechanisms for providing QoS in the transmission of multimedia data
- - study ways to ensure the fault tolerance of network services
